Exceptional summer in the High Tatras

Visitors to the alpine hikes can facilitate their access to the mountains by cable cars that take them from Štrbské Pleso pod Solisko, Starý Smokovec to Hrebienok or Tatranská Lomnica to Skalnaté Pleso and from Skalnate Ples to Lomnicky štít.

Guests can enjoy good food and an exceptional mountain atmosphere for the first time at the top of the Encián Gallery lookout tower, literally to the touch of the Tatra peaks. In addition to Lunch in the Clouds, romantic souls will also enjoy themselves during the Dinner Under the Stars – the adventure evening begins with a cable car ride to Skalnaté Pleso, continues with a great evening in the modern Panorama restaurant and culminates in watching the stars in the night sky.

The good news for all families with children will be the return of the popular Bear Days festival, which will take place on 30-31. July 2022 at Hrebienok. The festival, full of interactive and educational programs, which will not lack entertainment, will take place for the first time in a special – quieter mode so that it fits as well as possible into the mountain environment on Hrebienok. It offers not only wonderful views of the Lomnický štít, but also a pleasant zone with information about the Tatra fauna and flora, an interactive light gallery Kvantarium or a modern restaurant with a café.

One of the most popular Tatra attractions is boating at Štrbské Pleso, which has a 150-year tradition. At the new pier, guests have at their disposal not only stylish wooden rowboats, but also a wedding boat or a boat with a glass bottom. For adrenaline lovers, a 3 km ride on mountain carts or scooters from the Štart intermediate station to Tatranská Lomnica will be interesting.
