Automobilová doprava
An international road E50 runs through the city. The city is well connected with the highway D1. There are three respective exits:
1. Poprad – West, Airport
2. Poprad – High Tatras
3. Poprad – East

For longer routes, it is possible to use the services of special road transport MOJA TRASA.
Parking
There is an extensive park system available in the city centre. You can pay the parking fee via a text message. Prices range from € 0.30 / 30 min. to € 1 / 1 h in the zone closest to the center . For more information click HERE.
Taxi services
In addition to public transport, you can use several taxi services.
The standard price for a ride within the city ranges between €1.50 – 3.00 €. When choosing a taxi service, notice the logo that belongs to it. Your called taxi will be marked with this logo.

Bus
Suburban buses and coaches run from Poprad to numerous towns and villages in Slovakia. To search for connection, click on www.cp.sk.
Tickets can be bought on board a bus from the driver. Tickets for coach rides may be reserved and purchased online. You will be automatically redirected to cp.sk.

Railway
Poprad is directly connected with the cities on the East-West railroad line. The main stops are:
Košice, Kysak, Poprad-Tatry, Liptovský Mikuláš, Žilina, Trenčín, Trnava, Bratislava.
In addition, trains or streetcars connect the city with the Tatra mountains and their respective destinations: Štrbské Pleso, Starý Smokovec and Tatranská Lomnica.
